Austin Family Time

Last weekend Coby and I made the long trek down to Austin to see my family. I'm a little late posting this, but better late than never right?

Since we normally don't get to spend enough time down there, Coby took off Friday so we could go down Thursday night. Friday morning we got up and made the rounds with my Henly family first. We spent quite some time visiting with my grandmother (Sally Jo) and even managed to see my Aunt Diann for a little bit. When we got home Coby and I took Madison to eat BBQ and went to see my bother Matt play basketball at the YMCA in Dripping Springs.
Coby and Madison had a great time playing and we both tried to help her learn to hula hoop.

When it cooled down, we took the pups up to my Aunt Cathy's house to play with her dogs. She very graciously took in our crazy ADD dog Bella after we couldn't give her the room she needed in the city.
A million trips to the vet, getting run over and multiple staples later Bella seems to be adjusting well. When we got home Jessica (my brother's girlfriend/Madison's mom) told us that their chickens had laid thier first eggs. Madison was very excited about this discovery and talked about it often. Saturday we all woke up and went to have lunch for my grandma's 82nd birthday.

After lunch Coby and I went to see my best friend Scarlett and her family. We spent the rest of the afternoon at their house and then stopped by my grandma's for one last visit. Sunday morning we woke up and drove into Austin to see my granny. We had lunch with her, my Uncle Steve and Aunt Linda before we headed back up to Arlington.

All in all it was a great weekend and we got tons of quality time in with the fam.
